I’m Bri,

I guide practices that explore the body as an instrument for connection, expression, and self-inquiry. The intention is to cultivate awareness, nurture inner-acceptance, and bring curiosity to your ever-evolving nature.

I too, am a person in process. My path has not been simple or linear. When I was younger, a constant anxiety buzzed in my body. I struggled with feeling abandoned, inadequate and lonely. My connection to myself, those close to me, and the world was overwhelmed by a sense of not being in control. To cope with the inner-noise I abused substances, lashed out, and often sabotaged the things that brought my life real meaning.

Amid the chaos, I felt most present when I was dancing or playing characters in drama classes. These art forms embraced and encouraged my expressive impulses. Channeling the full scope of my feelings was both cathartic and grounding. I learned that when approached with curiosity, our emotions are not the enemy, but an integral part of our body’s intelligence. They keep us safe, ensure our actions are aligned with our values, and infuse our experiences with vivid colour.

Delving deeper into my self-discovery, I sought out spiritual philosophy and various somatic healing modalities. Consistent mind-body exploration has revealed the pain being carried in my system, alongside the wisdom necessary to care for it. I realized I wasn’t a problem that needed solving - I had just been doing my best to survive. Practicing creative and compassionate ways of connecting with myself has reinstiled a sense of inner-safety, belonging, and personal agency. With an increased capacity to befriend my emotional layers, my life has become more intimate, courageous, and joyful. Full of enthusiasm and reverence for the profound work of embodiment, it is my passion to support others on their unique path of discovery. May we each remember unconditional tenderness and the pleasure of our most exuberant self-expression.
